Well some of you may not have heard but the Safeway name will be removed from Victoria, to be replaced with Woolworths. I must say it is about time, for many years their has been a duplication of everything at Woolworths, from marketing to uniforms. There will also be a rebranding of every Woolworths/Safeway store with a new logo, more information can be found here.

At first I didn’t much care for the new logo, but after watching this presentation (click on implementation for the presentation I’m talking about) the logo is beginning to grow on me, although I must say the advert on the above website is quite odd and don’t think it quite suits the company.
