Well I have just finished reading the new book about Haileybury’s post war years called “A Good School” and I must say it is a fantastic insight into Haileybury, both past and present. It is not a difficult book to read and can easily be read in a couple of hours. Of particular interest are the Aikman years which are highlighted in great detail. There was also a good insight into the early Pargetter years, particularly Dr. Pargetter’s plan for the school. Overall I was very appreciative of receiving a copy and I’m sure it is something that I will refer back to every now and then.
