I have long been plagued by the incompetence of the people over at Optus, so I have taken my business elsewhere - Vodafone. So I’m now on a $79 Super-Cap which suits me perfectly however due to my move to Vodafone I have a new mobile number (I could have kept my old number but that would have meant dealing with Optus). The only complaint I have about Vodafone is that their reception is not as good as Optus however I only noticed this when I was in the city loop in which Optus receives minimal reception (Vodafone gets none - however Optus generally got none as well). One thing I did notice while I was on the hunt for a new mobile plan was that apart from Optus and Vodafone there really is no competition in the GSM market. (who in the world would voluntarily sign up with Telstra?).

Yesterday I went to Olympic Park at 9:00am, and took photos of Athletics for about two hours, I then went into the City to get my mobile plan (I was amazed, I was only in the Vodafone store for about 5 minutes, compared to the usual hour it takes over at Optus), I then caught a tram (route 112 if your really interested) to MSAC and spent the rest of my afternoon taking photos of Volleyball and at about 3:00 pm I got sick of taking photos and decided to go home.

Anyway that is my news for the weekend, anyway I should be off studying for exams but its only English and I really don’t care enough.
